Bushwalk Leader Stages of Accreditation

With 5 stages courses can provide skills and qualifications to potential leaders.

Bushwalking Leadership South Australia has conducted this training program since the 70’s. The course has fluctuated in numbers ranging from 13 people through to over 50 people in some years. The course is conducted once a year and is the required minimum qualification for leaders intending on working with Government schools and many independent or Catholic schools. The course at times is partnered with Regency TAFE and therefore people are able to easily seek recognition of prior learning for the training they have received for national training package units aligned with the Bushwalking Skills Sets. The course provides bushwalking enthusiasts a concrete knowledge to conduct successful bushwalking day and light weight camping expeditions.
